Your Cloud Server Questions Answered
Find answers organized by your journey stage - from initial curiosity to ongoing management and support
1
Getting Started & Enrollment
What experience level do I need before starting?
You don't need prior cloud experience, but basic computer skills help. Our program
starts with fundamentals and builds up systematically. Most successful participants
have used computers regularly for work or personal projects.
How long does the complete program take?
The full cloud server management program spans 8-12 months, depending on your
chosen track. Part-time participants typically complete it in 12 months, while
intensive track students finish in 8 months. This includes hands-on labs and
project work.
What equipment or software do I need?
You'll need a computer capable of running virtual machines (8GB RAM minimum, 16GB
recommended) and stable internet. We provide access to cloud platforms for
practice. Specific software requirements are covered in your welcome package.
When do classes start in 2025?
Our next enrollment period opens in August 2025, with classes starting September
2025. We also have a smaller cohort beginning in January 2026. Early registration
typically opens 3-4 months before each start date.

During Your Learning Journey
How much time should I dedicate weekly?
Plan for 12-15 hours per week including live sessions, lab work, and independent
study. This breaks down to roughly 6 hours of live instruction and 6-9 hours of
hands-on practice. Busy weeks might require 8-10 hours minimum.
What if I fall behind or miss sessions?
All sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. We offer catch-up labs
twice monthly and one-on-one mentoring sessions. Most students successfully catch
up within 2-3 weeks of focused effort.
Can I access practice environments outside class hours?
Yes, our cloud lab environments are available 24/7 throughout your program. You get
individual accounts on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud with monthly credits for
practice. Labs reset weekly with fresh scenarios.
How do assessments and certifications work?
You'll complete practical projects rather than traditional exams. These include
setting up production-like environments and troubleshooting real scenarios. We also
prepare you for industry certifications like AWS Solutions Architect.

also provide backup connection methods and can arrange individual technical
consultations if needed.
Can I specialize in specific areas like security or automation?

orchestration with Kubernetes.
